Michael J. Mayosky has been painting murals, portraits, and landscapes for 17 years. Originally from Kansas City, Mo., he has traveled state to state, but has come to call Springfield his home-base. Michael is currently doing a series of 111 Lincoln portraits, each with a different theme and style. Lincoln is portrayed in different walks of life and in different time periods. Mayosky says, “Lincoln is such a versatile person to paint. He is universally loved and a common man that identifies with all of us.” Pictured on the cover is the 90th portrait, Hipster Lincoln #90, painted with house paint.
