Springfield Native Jeff C. Williams is a graduate of Lanphier High School and Illinois State University.

He began taking art lessons at the Springfield Art Association at the age of 6, thanks to his mother, Alvina. He is a graphic designer at ISI Printing and does photography and web listings for velomine.com.

Jeff started the nationally touring band NIL8 with his brother Bruce, who is a fixture at Food Fantasies and the local music scene. NIL8 stopped touring full time in the late 1990s, and Jeff began focusing on artwork again.

Jeff has shown his artwork at the National Art Museum of Sport (“Bicycle Racer w/Split Pea Soup”) and has a painting on long term loan at the NCAA Headquarters in Indianapolis (“Boston 1969”). He has been commissioned to do paintings for Bicycle Times Magazine and the 2013 Philadelphia Bicycle Expo.
