SPRINGFIELD VISITORS CENTER

Located inside the Historic Lincoln-Herndon Law Office and Tinsley Dry Goods building, make sure to stop at the Springfield Visitors Center. One of our on-site travel experts will help answer all of your questions and provide you with information to make your trip legendary. In this building, you will also find an installation of Lincoln’s Law Office and Springfield’s regional Post Office that was located at this site from 1841-1849.

Passports! Passports! Passports! While visiting, grab an Explorer Passport that includes Abe’s Hat Hunt & the Living Legends & Landmarks of Route 66 scavenger hunts. We also have the Capital City Bourbon Journey Passport, and we can stamp all of your Route 66 passports too!
